About me

I am now in a place where I have more and more clarity about what truly matters. My love for
authenticity has awakened, and I devote myself as much as possible to actually living it.

To live an
authentic and unique existence, where the art is to perceive what has always been, exactly as it is—
leading to a direct encounter with reality.
The realization reaches deeper and deeper within me that life itself is full of risks. That my
person(ality) wants to know, and sometimes even wants to hold on. Brilliant, really. And I notice
that control works less and less. To put it in a metaphor: control is the flip side of the same coin as
“the let go.” Letting go. At the moment the penny drops, it turns out the whole coin doesn’t even
exist. What remains for me is the flow. The flowing itself. In myself, in my body, in my life, in my
relationships, in the shared field, and with others. Flow! I’m beginning to love it more and more.
In 2002 and 2003 I backpacked through India, where I was inspired by Osho and Indian culture.

In India, I had encounters that suddenly made my potential visible and tangible. Through meditation
and through touch of my body—the gateway to my soul—an inner knowing awakened. This doesn’t
mean I’ve stopped developing; I still notice veils of the mind and tricks of the ego within myself.
For me, it’s about energy flowing again in people, bringing them back into the flow. During my
travels in Asia, it became clear that I deeply love people. I have a genuine interest in what moves
people, and what it stirs in me.
Let me share more about the life journey that has brought me here. What an immense path I’ve
traveled already.

Background

As a child, I experienced myself as very sensitive, with a strong love of harmony. I grew up in a
small village, raised fairly calmly and protectively by my parents. Looking back, I see that I lived a
lot in opposites—sometimes even to extremes. This has made me a more complete person
emotionally, an “expert by experience.” Although as a child I wasn’t aware of it, now I can see that
everything—truly everything—has contributed to me being who I am today. I love the new, inner
adventure, and the fact that nothing is self-evident. Not even that I am here on earth. Life with all its
facets is one great miracle.
I had no idea what potential lay within me.

In terms of balance, I’ve also had a very adventurous, outgoing, and expressive time. A creative
expression of this was my love for clothing. For years I worked in fashion as a manager and visual
merchandiser for Mac & Maggie and MeXX. It was wonderful to continually discover and develop
the best in myself within that world. I was very good at my work and yet… it was time for
something new, something completely different.

In 1999, I rented out my house, packed a backpack, and left for a year in Southeast Asia, spending
six months in India.
I returned there several times. My spiritual journey began there with Vipassana
meditation and yoga in the Himalayas. I traveled with the questions: Who am I? What am I here to
be and to do?

My interest in Tantra, Indian gurus, massage, sexuality, consciousness, and awareness was
awakened. In 2002 I went to the Multiversity (Osho’s ashram) in Pune (India) for meditations,
workshops, and massages. A world opened up for me.

What fascinates me in Tantra is its sensitivity and fineness. Within Tantra, you are allowed to be
entirely yourself. The path of Tantra is also called the authentic path. That makes it freeing. The
feeling of truly living. Tantra is so complete—it explores everything. For me, it is life itself. Fully
conscious. I experience it as a profound beauty that I get to guide people in this.
Tantra has made such a deep impression on me that it has inspired me to pass it on myself. Expanding energy makes
us aware of our potential.

In Australia, I did a retreat intensive with Darpan using different plant medicines. It went deep.Parts of me fell away (definitively) through expanded consciousness. The plant medicines were my
guides and teachers. This can be life-changing! Now, inspired and motivated by Darpan, I guide
plant medicine journeys myself—mostly together with my partner Yourie—in group settings
throughout the Netherlands. I also offer these “journeys” for couples, private groups, and
individuals (1:1) at various locations.

Since 2006 I’ve had my own practice in Amsterdam for therapy, massages, Tantra, and medicine
journeys. Since 2014 I’ve had a beautiful studio in Amsterdam. Within both Tantra and Shamanism
there are ancient traditions, from which I create unique combinations that I offer in the form of
retreats. Alongside my practice, I run a coaching company called Inner Diamond Path.

You don’t have to become someone, you are already a masterpiece.
