What are truffles?

The official name for truffle is Sclerotium (or Sclerotia in plural). Magical truffles are sometimes
called “the children of Madre Ayahuasca.” The truffle belongs to the mushroom kingdom and is part
of a vast underground network.
In higher doses, they bring philosophical insights and awe-inspiring visuals. The hallucinogenic
truffle is therefore also called the “Philosopher’s Stone.”
Hallucinogens have a long history and deep reputation. For thousands of years, they have been used
by non-Western cultures as “sacred” medicines, known for their ability to heal, restore personal
imbalances, and connect with the spiritual aspects of life. Even today, they are still used worldwide

Truffle ceremony

Let’s get straight to the point: truffles contain a naturally occurring compound that is present in
more than 200 types of mushrooms, and also in truffles. In the body, psilocybin is converted into
psilocin. This is the compound that ultimately produces the psychedelic effects in the body. Magical
truffles have more or less the same properties and powerful effects as magical mushrooms. The
difference is that they grow underground. It may be extra comforting to know that these are legally
permitted in the Netherlands. During this ceremony, you will receive truffle tea.
The truffle lifts you up, so to speak, and lets you enter the world of magic beyond time and space.
Your perception of reality shifts. Your sense of time and space changes. Often, waves of euphoria
can be experienced during this journey.
